Instead of always saying Google Updates have made my
websites down, why can’t see these updates as a better opportunity to make more
efforts to take on websites for the better improvements. Google was every year
updates its algorithm. Penguin and panda are the most important of the updates.
The Panda Update – Actually this update was a bad time for
the link builders who were using black hat type of techniques. This changed the
SEO industry and thousands of websites, which were once making money on a daily
basis and get removed from Google’s index or even losing over 100+ positions in
the SERPs.
The Penguin Update – The second type of update released by
Google which was worse. But it was not worse as the panda update. The key
message to be learnt from the Penguin update was to use quality content, and to
expand anchor text profiles.
Now let’s discuss what are good things in these updates.
Helps us to remove the bad techniques
All the updates are closely related to some type of link
building technique. In the last few updates, links such as forum profiles
pointed directly at the money site was eliminated. It did not produce good
results, and it never will.
Google is becoming smarter to identify the techniques used
by the black hatters. The link builders who build the links using the white hat
techniques are in safe side. And they are always good in the eyes of the
Google. Because you are able to find out what works and what does not – and
then you can change your strategies to suit the new changes.
Makes SEO more challenging
We have to take some updates very seriously and to work hard
to improve the website. They undergo so many changes that it would be
impossible for you to retrieve your website if it was penalized.
Some times seo become more challenging for us to get the
website to be back which was affected. There is nothing to be afraid about of
Google updates. Sure they will remove bad links and bad websites. So what do
you do to prevent that? Never need to worry for the one who build quality links
and quality contents.
